Second Annual Shore Divers Challenge.

Update!!! As of March 2009 the SDC is open to Consumptive Boat Divers as well!!!!

After having great success in 2008 we have brought back the Shore Divers Challenge (SDC) for 2009. The Shore Divers Challenge (SDC) is a call to ALL consumptive divers to practice and promote stewardship of our coast.

Daniel from Dana Point goes all out pulling mass quantities of debris off the beach and out of the water. Way to reperesent Daniel!

The boys from Santa Barbara with an impressive haul of lobby traps up the hill.

More abandoned lobster traps hauled out from below the Cliffs in Palos Verdes. Stephan drove all the way from irvine to pull these traps plus some random trash.

Even when the WSB are in thick, spearos take time to get litter off the beaches and out of the ocean  in Southern California. The legendary Zenspearo got in on the action off Pt Loma:
